A beauty with the passion for Christ

The Miss Gospel Pageantry was birthed, from shared observation and information about the regular pageantry. We noticed that a lot of Christian parents prohibit their daughters from modeling and beauty pageants because of the perversion in most of them. It more often than not, promotes nudity, unfairness and harassment of every sort. Which is totally understandable because it doesn't uphold the Christian standards. As a result of this, we decided the best way to solve this problem is to create a platform for these young ladies who have passion for the beauty industry to come express themselves on a transparent pageantry, showcasing their talents, brain and beauty without being harassed or nude. Since the last event, some parents have seen the importance of this pageant and hence are motivated to push their girl child to achieving her goals.

Our Queens

Our winners

The maiden edition was held at Bradevic Hotel Hall, In Badagry (The home of Christianity) and Miss Oluwakemi Oyedeji emerged as the first ever Miss Gospel Nigeria Queen. She is 20 years of age and hails from Ogun State, in Nigeria. Last year August, Miss Faith Benhotons emerged as the second Miss Gospel Nigeria Queen. She is 19 years of age and hails from Lagos State in Nigeria. Her fellow reigning queens are Miss Arinola Peace who emerged as the 1st Runner up and Miss Matilda Shoneyin who emerged as the 2nd Runner Up. The third edition queens are as follows; Queen Wendy (Miss Gospel Nigeria 2020), Queen Elsie (1st Princess Miss Gospel Nigeria 2020), Queen Miriam (2nd Princess Miss Gospel Nigeria 2020), Queen Peace (3rd Princess Miss Gospel Nigeria 2020). The fourth edition queens are as follows; Queen Anjolaoluwa (Miss Gospel Nigeria 2021), Queen Helen (1st Princess Miss Gospel Nigeria 2021), Queen Princess (2nd Princess Miss Gospel Nigeria 2021), Queen Folashade (Viewers choice award winner Miss Gospel Nigeria 2021). The fifth edition queens are as follows; Queen Ruth (Pure International Queen 2022 /Miss Gospel Nigeria 2022), Queen Faith (1st Runner up Miss Gospel Nigeria 2022), Queen Shallom (2nd Runner up Miss Gospel Nigeria 2022), Queen Excitement (3rd Runner up Miss Gospel Nigeria 2022), Queen Christiana (Viewer's Choice Award Winner MGN 2022). We extended our tentacles into Africa and held the first edition of the Miss Gospel Africa last August and it successfully birth 3 beautiful queens from different African countries. Queen Panka from Cameroon (Miss Gospel Africa 2020) , Queen Eunice from Ghana (1st Princess Miss Gospel Africa 2020) and Queen Katty from Botswana (2nd Princess Miss Gospel Africa 2020). The second edition queens are as follows; Queen Maria from Ghana (Miss Gospel Africa 2021), Queen Jesenta rep. of Kenya (1st Princess Miss Gospel Africa 2021), Queen Elsie from Nigeria (2nd Princess Miss Gospel Africa 2021). The third edition queens are as follows ; Queen Kate (Miss Gospel Africa 2022), Queen Faith from Nigeria (1st Princess Miss Gospel Africa 2022), Queen Dorcelle from Gabon ( Miss Gospel Africa 2022). These are the reigning queens of the Miss Gospel Pageant, until they pass their crowns in August 2023. Then we embrace the new set of queens ready to make a difference.

Our Story

Miss Gospel Pageant is a beauty pageant that is organized by BEEYOND BEAUTY PAGEANTRY in conjunction with Word Impact Network, a network of pastors and believers whose desire it is to bring balance in Christendom by teaching the absolute Word of God. Convened by Grace Abbin and patroned by Apostle John Benhotons, Barrister Gboyega Osunkoya and Chief Femi Branch. Miss Gospel Pageant seeks to touch, empower and impact young ladies ( between the ages 17-30years) positively by giving them the platform to express and reinvent their talents and abilities in order to help them affect their generation by using these talents to make the world a better place and hence influence the community and nation with the gospel of Christ. This vision was birthed on the 1st of May 2018. Where a group of four, sat at a meeting held, to discuss how to make the vision a reality. Our primary goal is to build up self confidence in the lives of the younger generation in order to motivate them to be actively involved in national development on a spiritual and artistic level.

*Raising up God-fearing women in this generation to take up positions that would positively affect our nation as a whole and to promote pageantry from the Christian point of view.
